DMCA Takedown Notification

A few weeks back, I received an email from Blogger saying they'd received a DMCA Takedown Notification for some of the mixes on here (Bonkers 2 & 3 and Reactivate Classics), despite me saying any copyright holders could get in touch and I would take down the mixes (an offer I've now redacted as it seems they'd rather not).

You can read the complaint here if your really bored, but the best bit is:

"all the cds on this site are owned by React Records. I would like the hole site taken DOWN ASAP"

of course, followed by:

"I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate"

Thankfully, Blogger ignored the lies (and spelling mistakes) and only removed the 3 mixes listed in the complaint.

You can get Bonkers 2 from Amazon for £9.17 (although it's shipped from the States, so think of your carbon footprint first), Bonkers 3 for £22.59 (bargain) although even the mighty Amazon don't stock Reactivate Classics. I think HTFR did have a second hand copy in stock a couple of years back. Or search the net.

I don't know how much longer this blog will be running (I'm sick of the new an improved RapidShare and moving all the mixes to another host would take ages) but until then, React can suck my balls.
